Bali, my love

I first traveled to Bali, by myself, in the fall of 1998. Indonesian blood runs thru my veins. Bali was a home coming for me. It was first time I experienced people fully integrated with nature – there is no separation.

So many aspects of life are honored and revered. From the everyday, mundane vehicles of existence to the unseen forces of life and nature. Bali is perfect Feng Shui. Bali lives in between 2 worlds, heaven and hell, and they acknowledge both.

The biggest impression on me was how divinely feminine the women are. From their outlook on life, how they dress, the way they walk and move in their bodies, to how they smile with their whole being. From the inside out. This is beauty – fully realized and expressed.

Bali showed me how to live life.

The Center

There is a place in all of us that I call The Center which is the foundation of peace and experiencing the magic of life. This is different than balance.

It is similar to what the Buddhists call non-attachment – being present, letting everything happen as it will but staying centered. Not being pulled out or effected by circumstance, thoughts, or others. This is an area where things overlap but you stay centered or aligned.

It is also a place one reaches in meditation or yoga. It is expansive, reaches beyond the boundaries of thoughts and reality. And is where the mind remains still and does not attach itself to thought or feeling but is present with what is happening in the moment.

Let’s say you are washing dishes – you are completely 100% present with the dishes, by ot having the mind projecting into the future or revisiting the past but instead aware of the heat of the water, the texture of the soap, the motion of your hands and the interaction of washing, the heaviness of the dish, etc.

You can remain in the Center during everyday life. Living in the moment is the beginning action of doing this practice. Being present with every task or dialogue. When you are present you are not in the past or future projections of your mind and peace will come to you.

My Foundation

The foundation of my life and work is BEAUTY. Beauty has many aspects and qualities. It generates inspiration, creativity, higher aspirations, deep feelings, connection and much more.

Creating beauty in your life changes everything -

How you move thru everday life – when you know your purpose and gifts, there aren’t any decisions to be made. You just know and you trust and follow that.

Being in love with life – blurring the lines of work and life where the two merge together and there is no separation from who you are and what you do, to what you offer the world.

May I walk in Beauty
